Ken and Judy visited us at the Puyallup Elk's. They showed us the town (both grew up here), took us to a great hamburger joint for lunch, and we played a few games.
Dick wants one of these. He talked to this guy for half an hour about it. Told him "you line it up with that pole and I'll take the picture"! He did it.
Friends, Al & Phyllis, Rockey and I drove down to Cannon Beach from Seaside on Saturday June 13th to see the sand castle art. As expected there was a big crowd, but they had police officers from around the area directing traffic. They directed us down onto the beach and into designated parking. All very organized. The sand art ranged from master quality to little kids playing on a patch of sand.
